Who we are

This temple was constructed in traditional Kerala style under the guidance of Kanippayyur Krishnan Namboothiripadu. Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are given equal importance at his temple together with Sreedharma Shastha. Besides there are the deities of Devi, Ganapathi, Subrahmanian, Hanuman, Naga Devatha and Navagrashas. Devotees offer many special poojas every year. Installation day of the temple is celebrated in the month of Kumbha during the star Revathy under the guidence of Thanthri. Very special poojas are done on this occasion. Food also served to devotees. The festival of this temple is lasting for seven days starting from 25th of December every year with ceremonial hoisting of temple flag and ends with aarattu on 1" of January. Different religious cultural programmes and poojas are conducted as part of the festival. Other poojas like Sarvaiswarya pooja, Guruthi, Uthsavabali, Pailivetta etc add glitter to the fame of this temple. All ceremonies are conducted under the leadership of Thanthri. Besides, devotees conduct Maha Ganapathi Homam, Thrikala Bhagavathseva etc from Karkitaka 1 (month of Ramayana) to 31. Also, recital of Bhagavatha Sapthaha is organized every year in the month of September and October, inviting famous Acharyas of Kerala. Special Naga Pooja is conducted in Ayilyam of every month. People from different parts of the country are coming here to worship Shree Ayyappa Swamy. Number of devotees increase day by day and poojas are conducted in traditional Kerala style.
