Shree Ayyappa Temple

- About Temple -

This temple was constructed in traditional Kerala style under the guidance of Kanippayyur Krishna Namboothiripadu. Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are given equal importance at his temple together with Sreedharma Shastha. Besides there are the deities of Devi, Ganapathi, Subrahmanian, Hanuman, Naga Devatha and Navagrashas. Devotees offer many special poojas every year. Installation day of the temple is celebrated in the month of Kumbha during the star Revathy under the guidence of Thanthri. Very special poojas are done on this occasion. Food also served to devotees. The festival of this temple is lasting for seven days starting from 25th of December every year with ceremonial hoisting of temple flag and ends with aarattu on 1" of January.
